Wow, it's been forever. Nothing much has really happened. Well, kinda exciting things. Mila went to the London and Paris shows on June 14 and 15, and Erica and Justine went to the MuchMusic Video Awards, and MET THE JONAS BROTHERS.
Everything else is not new. We're working on the new site, and we're patiently (anxiously....) waiting for the Ottawa show. 51 days, I think? :D

I know it's been a while since it happened...BUT...last week on March 11th was the day where we found out that:
BRING THE JONAS BROTHERS TO OTTAWA IS A SUCCESS.
That's right: The Jonas Brothers are coming to the SCOTIABANK PLACE in OTTAWA (ok well Kanata...) on AUGUST 31st as a part of their world tour!!
Team Jonas presale tickets go on sale on MONDAY MARCH 23rd and if you don't have a TJ account, the public presale is SATURDAY MARCH 28th!
BTJBTO will be at the Montreal and Ottawa show :). So if you see us, don't be shy to come up and say hi!
I'd like to say a special thanks to every one of you who helped up through this past year, who believed that this was going to be a success. Thank you to Hot 89.9 (we're lookin at YOU G-RANT!) for giving us a spot on the air and the JONAS BROTHERS themselves for seeing our video and making a RESPONSE to it!

Haha, who's checking this thing anymore...
Anyways...this week has been HUUUUGEE for us!!! If you haven't noticed, we made a vlog telling everyone to buy advance tickets for the 3D movie and they favourited it the next day.
But that's not where it stops...THE BOYS ACTUALLY MADE A VIDEO RESPONSE TO IT!!!! It was on Tuesday and we're STILL freaking out.
One part I'd like you to pay attention to is when Kevin starts saying "Well, you never know..."
Do you know what that means?! MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!! It's not completely official...but COME ON! Now, to further this thing, we're continuing to give out posters. Happy New Year!
A new year brings a whole bunch of new resolutions, a new feel, and most importantly...MORE JONAS!
Us at BTJBTO are teaming up with a couple of other Canadian Jonas Brothers fans to create the very FIRST CANADIAN JONAS BROTHERS FANSITE! We're set to launch the first week of February, so BE READY! This site will not only have ALL the latest scoop on the boys (by all...we mean everything you see in the papers, fansites, and MORE, because we have GREAT sources!), BUT we'll have more exclusive coverage and focus on those diehard Candian Jonas Brothers Fans! After this site comes out, the boys will not only LOVE us, but they will adore us so much they'll keep wanting to come back for more!
In the meantime, 3 very important dates are:
-January 12, 2009 ("Big Announcement" as said on the official Myspace)
-January 19, 2009 ('Tonight' Video premiere!)
-February 27, 2009 (Jonas Brothers 3D Concert Movie Experience comes to theatres!)

Salut!
Alriighty then, long time no talk, but we have something to update you on!
Now recently, we decided to drop by the Ottawa Foodbank to donate like we do every year, but THIS year, Hot 89.9 had a contest there! They had ballots for anyone who came to drop stuff off to fill out for a chance to win a "Mystery Date With the Jonas Brothers". So hopefully, we'll get that chance! Anyhow, while we were at the foobank, we had a great chat with our FAVE DJ, G-Rant!!! After all the gawking at Erica, Justine and I at how big of fans we were, we left and said goodbye. We got in the car and heard our awesome shoutout from G-Rant! We then called him earlier tonight and said that he would be glad to talk to us ON THE AIR tomorrow night! Now...his show is from 6pm-12am on Sundays, so if you happen to be listening, be listening for the 3 of us trying to put our BTJBTO out there!!!

Anyways, not important. I just figured that after 4 months, people deserve an update!
... So pretty much: we saw the Jonas Brothers twice! It was amazing, but we will spare you the details. I know I hate hearing about people's concert experiences if I didn't go, lol.
UM, we have a great new idea. We're gathering downtown and going insane with our posters and music and petition and everything. We're even hoping to get the media involved!

Alright, so we've had many plans and discussions to get everyone downtown to promote bringing the Jonas Brothers to Ottawa...and we've never actually done anything about it!
So let me be the first to make an event and invite ANYONE who is willing to come downtown Ottawa to help us with flyers and whatever we need to do.
Now, Erica's plan is this: we set up a table somewhere downtown with our flyers so people can come and pick them up and tape them everywhere and we can also have music blasting from a couple of iPod speakers!
If we have enough people, we can actually have *teams* and go out with flyers and either give them to people and tape them up and stuff.
And as for the printing of the flyers...you can either print them yourself if you were willing to contribute (but it's not obligatory), contribute to the cost of printing them, ooorrr just show up downtown, haha. If our home printers cant print out a lot, then we might settle for prints at Staples or something.
As for iPod speakers and a table, I think we have that covered.
So basically, all we really need you to do is invite ANYONE who is willing to come down and help us!
Dates may be changed, so nothing is really official until it's said.

Hope you're liking the new layout! Sorry it's been under construction for so long, but I hope you guys have been doing what you can to contribute to this! For now, we're not putting as much focus into this simply because of school and exams are coming up, but once those are over, were heading into full swing! Bajillions of posters, downtown, e-mails, requests, everything!
And just last night, our school had a Hot 89.9 dance (we had a blast! B.L.A.S.T. !!. ... haha) and we got to meet Hot 89.9's own Cash Conners! We gave him some posters and told him about what we're trying to do, so hopefully he'll take it into consideration!
Now, as were counting down to the Toronto show *cough*33days*cough*, we want to know who's going! E-mail us at bringthejbtoottawa@live.ca and let us know! If we can, we may possibly gather there and pretty much bombard them with our mission, haha.

Wow, it's been a while.
Again, we're still on this mission! And we're not giving up until they come to Ottawa! Here are a few updates on what we've been doing:
+ Posters, Posters, Posters! We've been printing off over 200 posters and hanging them wherever we can, and we hope that you can do the same too! (you don't neccessarily need to print 200 haha, we used our school printer =P) We also made a new one! Click on the thumbnail to the right or HERE to see it!
+ Connections! We've also been e-mailing back and forth some radio stations and tv stations and whatnot, so if you have any connections, please tell them about this mission! (I actually JUST remembered that my neighbour is a news anchor (Leigh Chapple, anyone?)...so we have to make sure to ask her about this =]) So if you DO have any connections or if you can reach anyone, just make sure to tell them what our objective is and if they can help at all with publicizing or anything)
+ Vlogs! We've actually been making vlogs lately...some of them haven't been uploaded because of technical problems...but we'll make sure to get them to you soon!
+ PETITION! We're at 294 signatures right now. Remember, we need WAY more. Make sure to tell your family, friends, teachers, neighbours, ANYONE!
+ Baby Bottle Pop Project We've been thinking...when/if we meet the boys, we need to have something cool to give/show them. We've seen a bunch on the net, other peoples versions of the Baby Bottle Pop music video, so why not make a fan made video? Start sending in your clips to bringthejbtoottawa@live.ca! Yes, we're alive.
Hey BTJBTO-ers! It's Erica here. Yes, us here at BTJBTO are still alive, and very excited. Why? Well, if you didn't already know, we have successfully gotten tickets for the Jonas show in Toronto! Sure, it's no Ottawa ... but with the pestering of all the media down in T.O, maybe we can convince them to get a word in to those Jonas boys for us?
The boys have completely fallen off the MuchonDemand Daily 10, and that's very upsetting. If they are going to be in Toronto, and on MuchonDemand, please help bring them back to their rightful number 1 spot!

Vlog numero 5 is up! Check it:
Now, we need a place to interact. We O-Towners need to keep everyone updated on what they're doing, what's going on and whatnot, you know, feed each other with information. Not a lot of people have signed up for it, but we've made a message board for anything that has to do with this mission. We can discuss anything, any ideas you guys have, what you've done, if you're going to the Toronto show on July 4 or the Syracuse show in August, etc. We can quickly grow this thing if we interact with each other!
And I've heard that some people don't even bother participating because they think that the Jonas Brothers are never going to come to Ottawa...never say never, nothings impossible. If we get crazy and loud enough, if we get a lot of hope and hype, we can definitely get them here! I mean look, no one skips capital cities of countries, let alone provinces and states...so why skip Ottawa? Ottawa is as important as, if not even more, than Ottawa.
Also, keep making sure that if you're part of a MySpace group, Facebook group, LiveJournal community (CUF<3), or whatever kind of group, mention us because a lot of people make friendships on there and you might have too, so that could be an advantage and people on there are sooo helpful and friendly!
And you may have heard some buzz from MTV where JB fans all over the world almost crashed their server thanks to the genius planning of JonasBrothersFan.com. If not, then the scoop is, every night at 8pm, the fans would go onto the MTV site and comment, vote and play the When You Look Me In The Eyes video nonstop as much as they could, and this activity would almost crash the MTV site, and some days later, a VJ actually talked about it on MTV, talked to a fan via webcam, and she also got the chance to talk to JB on the phone, so they definitely know about THAT! This just sets the example that JB fans can do anything and get attention from it...so I truly believe we can succeed in this mission!

I think I'm running out of ways to say hello...but hello!
The past week has been a little busy for us with school and everything, so we haven't been able to get much done. We did make a vlog on Monday, but we haven't had enough time to send it to each other and edit it yet. Some of us are pretty concerned with our schoolwork right now, so let's just say that school comes first, OJD comes second. It doesn't bring down our desperateness for the Jonas Brothers to play in Ottawa at ALL. More updates should be in that vlog, and we'll be ready to announce them once we show you the vlog!
Now, for those of you that don't know, the boys are having a summer tour. They're calling it the "Burning Up Tour" and it actually kicks off near here in Toronto! The girls and I are just going crazy about joining the fanclub and getting tickets all together and just running around trying to see what costs how much and getting our parents to agree with us. We're beyond psyched for our first JB show and when (and I MEAN when) we see them, we're going to try our hardest to inform them about Ottawa. Unfortunately, if they ever DO have an Ottawa date, it wont be any earlier than the end of the summer because of all their U.S. tour dates, but we can hope for a fall show! Now, until then, we can grow this mission into something huge, and we'll have lots of time to do that =].
We should have the wonderfultastic vlog up by the long weekend. Until then, I hope you guys have a nice, nice long weekend and don't get consumed by all the slush and cold, wet rain! (Boy, didn't that sound cheerful?)

How's it going?! It's wonderful here! Do you know why? THE BOBW 3D MOVIE. It's finally come here to Ottawa. Now it's just wishful thinking here, but maybe they will follow the movie's footsteps and make their way over here? Just a quick update, Erica, Justine and I will not be coming to Silvercity, so don't bother meeting us there, haha. Just some other things have come up and were unable to come. But we WILL be around for the Hannah Montana BOBW show on Friday at Silvercity! I (Mila) will be the one wearing red jeans and a plaid type jacket, so if you see me, make sure to come by and say hi! We will most likely have the posters with us and give them to people who are interested in our little mission.
And because of outstanding ticket sales, we'll be going to the later show at 9:30. We'll probably be there a couple of hours earlier just to wait in line and chill. =]

Salut mes amis!
Aiight, first of all; SIGNATURES. We need moreeeeee! We're currently at 227, it's a good number, but it's not enough! Be sure to tell everyone, and I mean EVERYONE! Friends, family, teachers, coworkers, random people on the street (?). We know that a petition itself is not going to bring the boys here, but this is a way to show people that we really want them here!
Be sure to keep writing into radio/tv stations, companies, organizations and stuff like that to let them know what we're doing. Examples could be Hot 89.9, A Channel, Kiss FM, Hollywood Records, etc. You can even try to e-mail the management of the Jonas Brothers. It's also come to my attention that people can even contact people that are close to the Brothers, so if you have any of them (Mandy Jiroux, Garbo, John Taylor, etc.) on MySpace or something, be sure to let them know!
Just a reminder, vlogs up to #4 are up, so be sure to check them out for more updates!
A date to remember is this Thursday the 13th. Family channel is having an event and there's also a chance to win the signed guitar from the boys! Justine, Chelsea, Erica and I will most definitely be there, so be sure to look out for us! Unfortunately, we might not have those t-shirts, but I (Mila) will be wearing bright red jeans, so I think I should be easy to spot out =P. At the same time, the group and I will be talking to the people at Family channel to see what they can do for us.
Great news? The Best of Both Worlds movie is coming to OTTAWA this FRIDAY!!!!! It's at Silvercity in Gloucester, so be sure to come on down and join the P.A.R.T.Y. =]. Now, I'm not really sure if this is going to work, but I'm (Mila) going to be going to Toronto on the weekend and I might be able to put some posters up if we really needed it. But the thing is, it's kinda weird doing that in other cities, but e-mail us at bringthejbtoottawa@live.ca to let me know if you think I should take a couple of hours to do them! Remember, you can print them out yourself too! You can even give them out to people (friends, family, teachers?). My mom's actually going to take some to work to give to her co-workers, so that's an example.

Aiight, so, updates, missions, lardeedar. We hit 1000 hits between yesterday and today! Awesome! Keep getting people to come here and sign the petition and we'll have the Jonas Brothers up here in no time! Our videos are doing well actually, not huge numbers, but people are watching them! Be sure to check them out here.
Justine and I actually made a vlog yesterday, but my computer isn't cooperating at the moment, so we'll have to wait for that, haha.
We have 2 little get together missions for all our Ottawa OJD-ers, and we'll announce those in the upcoming vlogs as well as the dates.

As for the petition, we can do WAYYY better! 214 isn't too shabby, but remember, the Ottawa Civic Center has 10 000 seats! So we need at LEAST...2000? Let's keep our spirits up! If we feel like we can do anything, then we can!

Anyhow, not many updates to look at right now except we went downtown yesterday to do our business. We'll have that vlog up as soon as possible, I think we got some great shots haha. But for now, computers aren't cooperating. In the mean time, Justine managed to send me one clip from our day of fun, check it out here.
We also hit our 900 hit mark!
So if anyone is ever in the downtown area, be sure to look out for our posters located around the market and the part of Rideau St. across from those tatoo parlors (haha, yeah). We managed to put up maybe 20+ posters and they're a bunch of fluorescent colours. There are some in front of Hard Rock Cafe and the A Channel building. =]

Howdeh, howdeh.
Aiight. Nothing major has happened in the last few days, but we're gona get this ball rolling pretty fast soon! With the right people and the right goals, we'll be seeing the Jonas Brothers in no time!
Stats look like: at least 150 views on our Youtube vids, 883 hits on this site, 207 signatures on our petition and 94 members in our group! Now, I know we can do WAY better than this, so get inviting people! We know Jonas Brothers fans would do ANYTHING to get to these boys, let's show that!
I've made some new banners/buttons, so check them out here. They're smaller so you can fit them more places! I've also made a little handout size of the poster, so you can print a few and give them out to your friends!
Remember, we need at LEAST 10-15k signatures, and 200 is pretty good for the first couple of weeks we have been doing this without totally putting it out in the public, but we can do wayyyyy better! Hopefully after we make some deals with possibly some radio/tv/news teams, the numbers will shoot up!
This Saturday, Chelsea, Erica, Justine and I are heading downtown to put up our nice and fluorescent posters, so if you're ever in the downtown area, be sure to look out for them! We'll try to put them up on Rideau St. and the market mostly, and some streets around there, but it depends who lets us put it up infront of their store. We also plan to tape them up on posts and things like that. In that time, we'll also be filming out fantastalistic vlog, so be sure to watch out for that!
We've also made some new accounts on MySpace and LiveJournal, so if any of you would like to add us, feel free! The links are on the side!
And I also felt like a thank you was in order. Just in case no one reads these updates, I'm going to put our thank-yous on the side. I'd just like to say thanks for all the TV stations, radio stations, companies and fan sites who have even read our e-mails and replied so far! Good morning, lovelies. =]
We hit the 200 mark! Let's keep this going! Get as many of your friend and families to sign the petition so we can show Ottawa really wants this show!
In other news, we have gotten an e-mail back from Hollywood Records AND MuchMusic saying they would pass the mission to the right department, so it sounds like something! Just give it a few days!
I've made some new banners, so they'll be up later today. Some new posters should be up soon for you guys to print off and hang up/give out!
Speaking of posters, the group and I are heading downtown this Sunday to photocopy hundreds of posters to hang up and give out to people, so be on the lookout for them as they'll be placed all over the market and downtown (if they let us, that is...haha). Possibly the neighbourhoods of Centrepointe and Craig Henry in Nepean. Some of the posters might be in really bright colours, so be on the look out for them!
At the same time, we'll be doing our vlog, which should be interesting to edit/watch. =]

HEY-O.
Woow. This thing is really getting somewhere. With the help from all of you lovely people, we have managed to hit well over 700 page views for this site! Give yourselves a round of applause, that is fantastic! As well, our signature count is on the rise once again! We are currently at 134 signatures, and are persuading others to sign. I hope you are all doing the same, it would be wonderful to hit 1,000. It's a stretch, but Jonas Brothers fans are awesome, I know we can do this.
On another note, us admins have come up with the perfect day out on the town. It is going down next weekend, and I just can't wait! We will print out many of the wonderful posters both Mila and Chelsea made, and cover the downtown pillars, lamp posts, and people with them! Hopefully that will help us grown even more, and gain more supporters. And I know you were worrying, but you don't have to anymore! You will be able to come along for the ride! Our next Vlog will be filmed down there, and we will have some footage of our major BTJBTO day on the town.

We got a reply from Hollywood Records, but we believe it to be automated. But it's still exciting! Hopefully the email is truthful and they really did pass it on to the appropriate depatrment!

Ola mi amigos.
Sooo what's up lately? Right now, we've been thinking of where we should print our posters. I'm getting my dad (Mila's dad) to print some off at work to see if its the right size. We're also going to print some off at school to see if we like it that way or not. Remember, feel free to print your own, the link is in the Feb.17 Update below OR just click the thumbnail to the right.->
We'd also like to thank all of the JB fansites for mentioning us! Right now we have 119 signatures in our petition, so that's fantastic!! Our vlogs have at least 130 hits and this website has about 500!! Awesome job guys!
Tomorrow should be another vlog day, so come back tomorrow evening to watch it!
And last but not least, Mauler from the Hot 89.9 has e-mailed us back!! He said that he would forward it to the music department, so we're definitely getting somewhere with this!

Allo again
We got some updates for ya!
The first one is we have our second vlog done! So check that out here.
And as you may noticed (durh) we have a new layout, so I hope you like it! We also neatened up the pages a bit.
We also e-mailed all of the DJS of the Morning Hot Tub from Hot 89.9, so hopefully, we'll hear a reply from them! Aimee has contacted Live Nation (the company who are touring with the JoBros) so we'll have to wait for a reply for that. Erica has e-mailed the Civic Center and they said that Live Nation has to contact them for anything to happen.

So we got some signatures today and I believe we're up to 94. Not bad! Keep telling people!

And advertising-wise, I just finished making a poster that we might get a printing store to print. Right now, I'm trying to figure out how to put it on here so you guys can download it and print it off yourselves to post it places (it's a big .jpg file, but its 7x8 inches, and I guess 2000 pixels become waaayy bigger when you print it =S). So check back to see if we have a downloadable version of the poster, but for now, heres a glace:

Yes it's 3am.
Anyhow. The petition so far has 85 signatures, so good job! Today I was doing a bit of research with Erica, and she just got emailed back from the people at the Ottawa Civic Center. They said that the company who is doing the tours actually contacts THEM, not the other way around. Live Nation is touring with the Jonas Brothers, so we went to their site and we couldn't find any contact information. IT'S OKAY! They don't need to come here with Live Nation. We'll try (and succeed!) to get them here on their own. Once they see how much work we've put into this, I think they'll appreciate us so much they'll come :). Haha.
On the topic of this site: I've been meaning to do some changes (layouts on each of the pages), so that'll come soon. Also, to satisfy our talking needs, we've created a message board. There, you can talk about the JoBros, this mission and whatnot. Don't make it TOO general :). The message board requires you to sign up, but its free and simple! You can get to the message board here
Remember, if you've contributed in ANY way, it would be cool to let us know by e-mailing us at bringthejbtoottawa@live.ca . That way, we can get what kind of response and how close we are to achieving our goal so we know what kind of moves to make. I'm actually planning on e-mailing Perez Hilton (oh yes, he loves the JB) and Trent from PinkIsTheNewBlog. So maybe, if we pray to god, we'll get a response? Haha.

Ola.
So this thing has existed for not a long time and we've already got a lot done! Check out everything we've done so far. The group of people who are organizing with this are Justine, Erica, Aimee, Mandy,Chelsea and myself, so if you have any questions, be sure to contact us at bringthejbtoottawa@live.ca . The group of us actually made a vlog the other day, but Justine's e-mail wasn't working so we couldn't edit it. It should be up soon. I'd also like to thank everyone who has participated, signed the petition and joined the Facebook group so far! It's only been a couple of days since this mission has been in high gear, and it's because if you guys we're getting off to a great start!
About the petition: we're off to a great start! Remember, we'd love to have AT LEAST 10 000 signatures, maybe more? As of today, we have 76! So that's awesome since we only made it a couple of days ago. This site actually got 169 hits in ONE day! So that's great that people are seeing this! Make sure you're telling everyone you can, if you guys aren't sure how to participate, check out the "What Can I Do?" page. We're actually starting to make some posters that you guys can later download (it'll be a PDF file that you download from here and then print out) and then post them anywhere you can! So let us know if you guys are doing anything, because we'd LOVE to know what kind of action this mission is getting.
So remember to do whatever you can do, and if you've contributed in any way, let us know on the message boards (here) ooorrr e-mail us.!
